The first 3d printed part

Behold my first 3d printed part. I am waiting for the Smithsonian to call me to arrange public displays so you can all see it for yourselves.

I wanted a cylinder with a hole through if for a pivot shaft, a pair of holes either side I could push magnets into, and a hole in the bottom I could glue a beater into. I drew it, and that same afternoon, I had it in my hand. From this point on, it was just a formality to get the rest working.

It turned out this little bit of plastic would end up costing me a lot of money, since I had to buy my own 3-d printer the next day.
